When the Centre M\u00e8dic Esplugues in Badalona (Barcelona) commissioned me to design their official mascot Splugui<\/strong> en version peluche, j’ai tout de suite ador\u00e9 le d\u00e9fi. 💙<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Splugui is a little round blue character who's a real health superhero for kids: a nurse's cap, a red cape, a first-aid kit and a bandage in his hand... what a program!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The creative process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim was to remain faithful to the character's original design, while adding volume, character and softness. Every detail was worked on by hand in my workshop: the round cheeks sewn in relief, the big expressive eyes, the little red cross on the briefcase, and even the little stitches embroidered on the yellow bandage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The red cape is removable, and the label Piccolo Artista<\/em> est discr\u00e8tement cousue sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u2014 un petit signe de qualit\u00e9 artisanale. 🧵<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A plush toy with a mission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce type de peluche personnalis\u00e9e pour entreprise ou association a un r\u00f4le bien particulier : elle accompagne les enfants, les rassure, et donne un visage ami \u00e0 un endroit qui peut parfois faire peur. Splugui est d\u00e9sormais en route pour rejoindre ses humains ! 🚀<\/p>\n\n\n\n
